Dr. Angelo L. Minutillo completed his pediatric residency at Children's Regional Hospital/Cooper University Medical Center and joined Advocare Gloucester County Pediatrics in 1989, where he had the privilege of working with practice founder Jacqueline G. Coant, MD, one of South Jersey's most esteemed clinicians. Dr. Minutillo graduated from the University of Bologna, Italy. At the Bone Tumor Center at Rizzoli Institute, Italy's largest orthopaedic research and healthcare center, he worked with physicians researching the effects of chemotherapeutic agents on bone tumors, many of which affect children.

Since 2003 Dr. Minutillo has served as vice-chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Underwood-Memorial Hospital, which he previously served as chairman from 1994 to 2003. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is also a member of the medical staff at Children's Regional Hospital/Cooper University Medical Center.

Published in European and American journals of medicine, Dr. Minutillo is associated with the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the Gloucester County Medical Society, and the Medical Society of New Jersey. He was awarded a New Jersey State Senate Resolution by State Senator John J. Matheussen in recognition of his participation in "Childhood Wellness," has received two Robert Wood-Johnson Medical School Teaching Awards, was conferred the Physician's Recognition Award with Commendation by the Medical Society of New Jersey, and was honored as recipient of the "St. Luke Award" by the Diocese of Camden for outstanding service in Catholic health care. He has been recognized as a "Top Doc" by both New Jersey Monthly and South Jersey Magazine. Dr. Minutillo and his wife, who is also a doctor, have two children.
