About Us

Partnering With Parents and Communities to Help Children Reach Their Full Potential

When Dr. Jacqueline Coant founded Advocare Gloucester County Pediatrics in 1960, she was one of the first female pediatricians in southern New Jersey. Dr. Coant built our practice based on the belief that happy, healthy children are the result of a partnership between loving parents, families, and dedicated healthcare providers within a supportive community.

Advocare Gloucester County Pediatrics remains committed to fostering caring partnerships between healthcare providers, families and communities. Our goal is to help you enjoy the parenting experience and ensure that your child's full potential is reached. As partners, we work hand in hand with families to promote the best possible health for their children.

Our practice has grown over more than four decades to include four board certified pediatricians, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and specialized staff to help care for children from infancy to adulthood. Every member of our team maintains a focus on the health and well being of the whole child. We strive to provide quality pediatric care for a wide range of patients' needs, including preventive medicine, acute (sick) and chronic illnesses, disabilities, developmental and behavioral issues, adolescent/pubertal concerns, multiple births and prematurity. With a dedication to advancements in clinical care, customer service and technology, our staff is committed to providing infants, children and adolescents with the most advanced health care available. Advocare Gloucester County Pediatrics works interactively with all hospitals, specialists and health care systems to meet each child's healthcare needs.
