Pierre N. Coant
MD, FAAP

Dr. Pierre Coant joined Gloucester County Pediatrics in 1991. He went to medical school at the Medical College of Pennsylvania that is now part of Drexel University. He did his pediatric residency at Cooper Medical Center and then went on to the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo for further training. He completed his fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine in 1991 with a certification from State University of New York at Buffalo. He has published articles in the peer review journals of Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Care as well as textbooks of pediatrics. Since then he has been involved with multiple organizations including the March of Dimes, the Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative and the American Academy of Pediatrics. He was the Vice Chairman of the Department Pediatrics and Pediatric Grand Rounds coordinator of Underwood Memorial Hospital 1994 - 2002. He was the President of the Gloucester County Medical Society 2004 - 2005. Currently he is active in the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a co-chairman of the government affairs committee. He has been listed as a “Top Doc” in New Jersey Monthly and South Jersey Magazine. He is board certified in Pediatrics since 1986 by the American Board of Pediatrics and continues his maintenance of certification. He is an active member in the Department of Pediatrics at Underwood-Memorial Hospital as well as a pediatrician on staff at The Children's Regional Hospital/Cooper University Medical Center. Dr. Coant is married with two children.

 

 

Sharon Ceravolo
MSN, APN

Sharon Ceravolo joined Gloucester County Pediatrics in 1997 as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from LaSalle University, PA with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University of Pennsylvania. She has a School Nurse Certificate from Glassboro State College. She worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, and recovery room. She has experience at Hyannis Pediatrics, MA. She was also a school nurse and health educator at Wenonah Elementary School. She presently works as a school nurse practitioner in Clayton High, and Middle School and works at Gloucester County Pediatrics as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Her professional organizations include NAPNAP; South Jersey andNew Jersey State School Nurses Associations, Gloucester County School Nurse Association- past President and presently recording secretary. She is a member of New Jersey Teachers Association. Sharon is involved in the Clayton High School Behavioral Health Team, the Safety Committee, Intervention and Referral Service Committees. Her hobbies and interest include gardening, golf, and theatre, biking and hiking. Sharon is married with two adult children and three grandchildren.

 

 

Salma Alikhan
MD, FAAP

Dr. Salma Alikhan has been practicing at Gloucester County Pediatrics since 2005. She received her bachelor of Medicine & Surgery degree in 1996. She did her internship in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine in1997-1998. She completed her Pediatric residency at Children Regional Center at Cooper University Hospital, NJ in 2005. She is board certified in Pediatrics by American Boards of Pediatrics. She is a chartered member of American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a pediatrician on staff at Underwood Memorial Hospital and The Children Regional Center at Cooper University Hospital. She is also a member of South Jersey Physician of Indian Origin and Rawalpindi Medical College Alumni. She also served as a Clinical Preceptor for University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 2006. Dr. Alikhan is married and a mother of two lovely boys. Her areas of special interest are allergies, asthma & infectious diseases.

 

 

Angelo L. Minutillo, MD
FAAP

Dr. Angelo L. Minutillo completed his pediatric residency at the Children’s Regional Hospital / Cooper University Medical Center in 1989. That same year, he joined Gloucester County Pediatrics and had the privilege of working with Jacqueline G. Coant, MD, one of South Jersey’s esteemed clinicians and the founder of the practice. Dr. Minutillo is a graduate of the University of Bologna, Italy. At the Bone Tumor Center at Rizzoli Institute, he worked with physicians researching the effects of chemotherapeutic agents on bone tumors, many of which affect children. He is published in European and American Journals. Dr. Minutillo is associated with the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the Gloucester County Medical Society and the Medical Society of New Jersey. Dr. Minutillo has been awarded a New Jersey State Senate Resolution by State Senator John J. Matheussen in recognition of his participation of “Childhood Wellness”, has received two Robert Wood-Johnson Medical School Teaching Awards, was conferred the Physician’s Recognition Award with Commendation by the Medical Society of New Jersey, and was honored as recipient of the “St. Luke Award” by the Diocese of Camden for outstanding service in Catholic health care. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Underwood-Memorial Hospital from 1994 to 2003. He has served as Vice-Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics since 2003. Dr. Minutillo is a member of the medical staff at the Children’s Regional Hospital / Cooper University Medical Center, is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been listed as a “Top Doc” in New Jersey Monthly and South Jersey Magazine. He is married to Dr. Mary Ann Laudati; they have two children.

 

 

Mary Ann Laudati
MD, FAAP

Dr. Mary Ann Laudati completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Regional Hospital / Cooper University Medical Center in 1994. Subsequently, she practiced as a pediatric physician at the Osborn Family Health Center, affiliated with Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. Her duties also included care of sick newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, at Newcomb Medical Center, a former affiliate hospital. Dr. Laudati is on staff at Underwood-Memorial Hospital in the Department of Pediatrics. She has practiced at Gloucester County Pediatrics since 2002. Dr. Laudati went to medical school at the University of Bologna, Italy and graduated Cum Laude in 1982. Her areas of interest included Ewing’s Sarcoma, a bone tumor often afflicting children. Her contribution to a study of Ewing’s Sarcoma was published in the European journal, Tumori. Dr. Laudati is a member of the Academy of Pediatrics and has been has been certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She was awarded the PREP Educational Award and the American Academy of Pediatrics CME Award.

 

 

Heather Wadehra
MSN, APN

Heather joined Gloucester County Pediatrics in 2008 after receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Gloucester County Pediatrics, Heather worked as a nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. As an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Heather is proud to be a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Although Heather is most likely to be found outside running or biking during her free time, she and her husband have just welcomed the arrival of their first child and the adventure of new parenthood.

 

 

Patricia Nolte
RN

Pat Nolte joined Gloucester County Pediatrics in October, 2005 as a Registered Nurse. She came to the practice in 1989 as a parent. Pat attended the Helene Fuld School of Nursing earning a Diploma for Registered Nurse. She practiced in adult orthopedics for a brief period before settling into her area of preference – Pediatrics. She worked at the Children’s Regional Hospital at Cooper University Medical Center for twenty-three years. During this time, she acquired experience in General Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Oncology/Hematology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Surgery and Trauma Care. She worked extensively in the Intermediate Care Unit, with time in the NICU, PICU, and Mother/Baby units as well. In 2003, Pat was the recipient of the Ronald Bernardin Award for Excellence in Pediatric Nursing. Pat is married with three children. She enjoys time spent with family activities, as well as gardening, reading, various craft activities, and cheering on the Flyer’s hockey team.

 

 


Meghan Salvatore,
MSN, APN

Meghan joined Gloucester County Pediatrics in 2010 after receiving her Master of Science of Nursing (MSN) degree in the pediatric specialty from Yale University. She completed her undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining Gloucester County Pediatrics, Meghan worked as a nurse at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital on a medical/surgical unit. Meghan is board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association. Meghan’s areas of interest include diabetes in children, celiac disease, pediatric obesity, and nutrition. She moved to New Jersey to join her husband Brian, a native of Southern New Jersey, who works in Philadelphia. Meghan enjoys playing tennis and field hockey, biking, gardening, reading, and cooking.
